Burn; Holy Ground

Burn; Holy Ground

  • 2009
  • Enamel on Canvas
  • 520mm x 1005mm

This painting was completed after a series at church that looked at the place we are and the holiness of it. It began from people taking off their sandals when they came to the temple to worship because the ground they were on were considered holy. It also links back to the time of Moses, where the burning bush spoke to Moses, and outlined the future for God’s people through him.

It is completely made using spray paint and stencils, including the tree, and all of the letters.
